Between The Wines First Post! My Journey in Wine, Reading, Tasting, & Exploring!

 

Welcome to Between The Lines! A blog where I will be reviewing my favorites wines and books. Along the way, I will also be exploring plenty of various wines while I am on a journey to becoming a Sommelier.

     I would love to discuss and go in detail covering each of the wines that I taste. Along with how the wine tastes, I'd like to involve the origin of the wine, the history of the producers, the family, vintage, variety, etc. I'd want for this to be as much of a learning experience for myself and for anyone else who would wish to learn more about wine themself.

Wine is so much more than an incredible beverage to consume, in fact, it is much more than that. There is a story. A story on how that grape came to become wine. 

Winemaking holds so much culture and history behind it. There are real people and generations of families behind the production of most of these wines that we cherish. The process behind growing grapes, caring for them, and producing them into the delicious and intricately designed bottles of wine is something marvelous to me.

Discussing wine, along with my favorite wine books, and then some, is what I would essentially like to focus on. Books that help me learn, along with my personal picks. Together, I'm hoping to use this platform as my online journaling source. I hope to encourage others, and surely, they can learn a little bit more about wine and it's origins from my blog.
